LOS ANGELES, Feb. 26, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Louis Hernandez Jr.'s A Little Hope Foundation is pleased to announce the list of industry leaders who have joined the foundation's effort to raise money and awareness to fund college scholarships for underprivileged and underrepresented students as advisory board members for the inaugural A Little Hope Gala taking place May 9, 2019, at the legendary Village Studios in West Los Angeles
"I'm excited to announce the incredible group of dedicated people who have joined me in the work to increase access to higher education for those who need it most. It's an inspiration that so many recognized industry leaders are helping with this important cause," said Louis Hernandez Jr., founder of A Little Hope Foundation and co-chair of the advisory board.
A Little Hope Foundation supports the needs of underprivileged and underrepresented students from specified groups, including families of single parents and children of veterans, who seek specific educational goals in the arts, sustainability, science, technology, engineering, mathematics or education. The scholarships awarded are based on need and university selection.
Sandy Nasseri, president and co-founder of MelroseINC, a WBENC-certified woman-owned business that provides technology products and services to the entertainment industry, has joined the effort as co-chair of the advisory board.

I'm so proud to be a part of the A Little Hope Gala and the effort to raise money to provide important scholarships to aspiring youth who otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to pursue their dream of higher education. The gala advisory board will oversee and coordinate four committees: event experience, sponsorship, auction, and attendance and media.
